چکیده
We study analogues of Jucys-Murphy elements in cellular algebras arising from repeated Jones basic constructions. Examples include Brauer and BMW algebras and their cyclotomic analogues.

On some quadratic algebras
We study some quadratic algebras which are appeared in the low–dimensional topology and Schubert calculus. We introduce the Jucys–Murphy elements in the braid algebra and in the pure braid group, as well as the Dunkl elements in the extended affine braid group. Relationships between the Dunkl elements, Dunkl operators and Jucys–Murphy elements are described.
متن کاملSeminormal Representations of Weyl Groups and Iwahori – Hecke Algebras
The purpose of this paper is to describe a general procedure for computing analogues of Young’s seminormal representations of the symmetric groups . The method is to generalize the Jucys – Murphy elements in the group algebras of the symmetric groups to arbitrary Weyl groups and Iwahori – Hecke algebras . The combinatorics of these elements allow one to compute irreducible representations expli...
متن کاملCommuting families in Hecke and Temperley-Lieb Algebras
We define analogs of the Jucys-Murphy elements for the affine Temperley-Lieb algebra and give their explicit expansion in terms of the basis of planar Brauer diagrams. These Jucys-Murphy elements are a family of commuting elements in the affine Temperley-Lieb algebra, and we compute their eigenvalues on the generic irreducible representations. We show that they come from Jucys-Murphy elements i...
متن کاملVertex Algebras and the Class Algebras of Wreath Products
The Jucys-Murphy elements for wreath products Γn associated to any finite group Γ are introduced and they play an important role in our study on the connections between class algebras of Γn for all n and vertex algebras. We construct an action of (a variant of) the W1+∞ algebra acting irreducibly on the direct sum RΓ of the class algebras of Γn for all n in a group theoretic manner. We establis...
متن کاملSpecht modules and semisimplicity criteria for Brauer and Birman–Murakami–Wenzl algebras
A construction of bases for cell modules of the Birman–Murakami–Wenzl (or B–M–W) algebra Bn(q, r) by lifting bases for cell modules of Bn−1(q, r) is given. By iterating this procedure, we produce cellular bases for B–M–W algebras on which a large Abelian subalgebra, generated by elements which generalise the Jucys–Murphy elements from the representation theory of the Iwahori–Hecke algebra of th...
